I'm currently an AI policy researcher at Convergence Analysis leading the Governance Program.

Right now, I'm one of no more than 5 full-time researchers in the world concentrating on governance strategies to navigate the upcoming AGI economic transformation. My goal is to drastically increase that number.

I've also hosted a conference on AI economic impacts, and conducted research on foundational AI governance policies (e.g. chip registries & model registries), & soft nationalization scenarios.

Previously, I was the fifth software engineer and the lead of various projects at Alchemy, an Ethereum infrastructure startup now valued at $10.2 billion. At Alchemy, I created web3.university, a learning platform with over 200k students.

From 2015 - 2018, I was a rapid prototyping researcher at Google's Interaction Lab, where I led software & UX explorations for a next-gen Google Glass. Projects I created included augmented memory tooling and subtle head gestures.

At Google, I also invented and built the first "Babelfish" real-time translation feature for wireless earbuds, launched in 2017 on the original Pixel Buds.

Outside of work, I'm into surfing ๐Ÿ„โ€โ™‚๏ธ, community living ๐Ÿ˜๏ธ, and music production ๐ŸŽน. I started and organize a camping & music festival ๐ŸŽช now in its 6th year.
